What is Empathy?
Danny Langloss shares what empathy means to him during his keynote, "OwnerShift: 7 Pillars to Unleash the Champions in Your Organization" at the Midwest Summit on Leadership.
MEET DANNY
Ever since Danny was 8 years old, he felt a calling to become a police officer. As his career progressed, Danny realized this was really a calling to leadership. He always felt drawn to help others. Danny’s goal was to be in the position that would allow him to make the biggest difference. He quickly rose through the ranks of the department, serving as a patrol officer, detective, hostage negotiator, SWAT officer, patrol sergeant, and detective sergeant before being named the youngest police chief in the history of the Dixon police department at age 33. At 43, he was promoted to serve as Dixon's City Manager.
